Four years after its last Chicago (USA) edition, PACK EXPO International was once again held last week at McCormick Place. As one of the most important shows in the North American packaging industry, this year’s edition of the event gathered more than 2,200 exhibiting companies and 44,000 attendees.
After its last Chicago edition four years ago, PACK EXPO International took place again at McCormick Place in Chicago (USA) this week. This show is one of the most significant events in the packaging industry in North America, with more than 2,200 companies exhibiting their latest innovations, in front of more than 44,000 attendees at this year's edition.
The US packaging market has grown 40 percent since 2019, from $10.8 billion to $15 billion, something that explains the exhibitors' and visitors' interest in the show.
The four days of the show were very active and dynamic, and the second day in particular had a very high level of participation, confirming this way a complete return to pre-pandemic normality in this environment.
Leading pharmaceutical packaging companies took part in this event, demonstrating the importance that this meeting has in the industry.
As a top manufacturer of aseptic filling and freeze-drying equipment, the Dara Pharma Group participated in this trade fair alongside its North American agent, NJM Packaging, with which we shared the booth.
Dara Pharma and Coolvacuum showcased a laboratory freeze dryer, model LyoMicron, and a filling and closing machine for vials, syringes, and cartridges in "Nest", the model NFL/2.
The excellent booth location combined with the superb quality and technology for which Dara Pharma is recognized at the international level made a remarkable number of attendees to be interested in the exhibited machines, asking as well about other equipment and “turnkey” complete lines that our company can offer adapted to each customer’s productive requirements.
That is why we consider this exhibition a very successful one for the Dara Pharma Group, since it gave us the opportunity to establish physical contact with potential customers for the development of different projects and allowed us to state the strong reputation that Dara Pharma Group has in the US market.
Finally, we would like to make a positive remark on the NJM Packaging sales team, which brings a new vision and energy to keep representing Dara Pharma and Coolvacuum in the very dynamic North American region.
